Estimator
Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to prepare accurate cost estimates for excavation and site development work. You’ll collaborate with project managers and clients to scope jobs, source materials, and ensure competitive bids. Experience with construction estimating software and a strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, and grading required. Degree in construction management or equivalent field experience preferred.
Skilled Laborer
Perform a variety of tasks including site prep, grading, trenching, backfilling, and assisting equipment operators. Previous construction experience required. Must be dependable, able to follow directions, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Opportunity to advance into equipment operation or supervisory roles.
Pipe Layer
Install, repair, and maintain underground pipes for storm drains, sanitary sewers, and water mains. Read and interpret blueprints and grade stakes. Experience with laser levels and pipe laying equipment required. Must be comfortable working in trenches and following all safety protocols.
Heavy Equipment Operator
Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, and other heavy equipment for site development and excavation projects. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance. 2+ years experience required. CDL a plus.
Gravel Train Driver
Transport aggregate, sand, gravel, and other materials to job sites using tandem or tri-axle dump trucks. Must have a valid CDL Class A or B with a clean driving record. Knowledge of local roads and quarry locations in Mid-Michigan preferred. Consistent hours with competitive pay.
Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Maintain and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and small engines to keep our fleet running. Diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues. Welding and fabrication skills a plus. Must have your own tools and a solid understanding of construction equipment. Shop and field work required.
Site Supervisor
Oversee multiple crews and job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to Woodhull standards. Coordinate with estimators, project managers, and clients. Manage personnel, resolve field issues, and maintain quality control. 5+ years of construction experience with proven leadership required.
